Cask-aged rum is becoming increasingly popular and rightfully so. Located just outside Thurso, North Point Distillery is the most northern Distillery in the UK. Focusing heavily on rum while their whisky sleeps, North Point has already won multiple awards for their rum and vodka. Bottling in Autumn 2024 after maturing for five years in a Jamaican rum barrel.

Dark Caramel, Molasses, some hints of dark oak, and tobacco will be prevalent in this cask. Alongside the North Points naturally complex and mellow Rum entering the cask, this cask in particular will bring an interesting sweetness with qualities of candied dark cherry.
